The Patio
The Patio was born out of a passion to make a difference—caring for senior loved ones while caregivers get a well-deserved afternoon off. For a few hours each week, members of Midland Lutheran Church, Church on the Journey and the Senior Companion Program of Midland help folks discover some time for themselves while their loved ones enjoy interacting with people who really care about them. Caregivers can go to the movies, shop, run errands or just sit back and do absolutely nothing. Seniors in turn will enjoy listening to some live music, exercise, do puzzles, play bingo or just relax in a warm setting and soak it all in!
Every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.—except for the fifth Thursday of the month and holidays—The Patio doors are open. The cost is $15 per person per afternoon. For more information, please call 694-1373.
