Memorial Christian Church
Established as a mission of Midland's First Christian Church (FCC), Memorial Christian Church (MCC) met for the first time on Sunday, January 3, 1954 on the corner of W. Front St. and Avenue D, with 29 FCC "missionaries" in attendance. Fifty years later, still with a focus of outreach and service at the heart of its existence, MCC touches the lives of countless Midlanders who are in need through its mission ministries. A loving and nurturing community of faith, MCC continues to embrace the spirit of unity and purpose the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) extends to all believers who claim Jesus Christ. CHURCH ON THE JOURNEY celebrates the shared ministry our two congregations are building together in our efforts to jointly further the cause of Christ in Midland, TX.
